Sanjay Chand

Sanjay Chand is the Company’s Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance. As such, Sanjay is primarily responsible for the financial operations of the Company. Before joining UBC, Sanjay worked for twelve years with American Communities and its subsidiaries starting in 2000. Prior to American Communities, Sanjay worked for five years at a Beverly Hills real estate development company and as a controller for large private REIT. Overall, Mr. Chand brings over twenty years of experience in real estate finance, construction and property management. Mr. Chand has extensive experience performing financial modeling for new property acquisitions, debt and equity structuring and budgeting. He has a thorough understanding of affordable housing development. Sanjay has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from San Diego State University, and he has completed select graduate courses at UCLA. Sanjay lives in Torrance, is an avid Lakers fan and enjoys playing his guitar.
