Richard Spunt

Richard Spunt is the Company’s Executive Vice President of Construction. Richard oversees all the Company’s construction activities. As an executive in construction and architecture for over 35 years, Mr. Spunt has experience in a wide range of specialties: estimating, purchasing, contracts, management, preconstruction, construction documents, design build, finance and operations. Before joining UBC and its predecessors in 2010, Richard co-founded E & R Construction & Management. Mr. Spunt has built a range of products including office, retail, government and multifamily projects ranging in size up to 400,000 square feet. Mr. Spunt holds an active California General Contractor’s License (Class B). Richard is also a Leadership in Energy and Environmental (LEED) Accredited Professional. Richard and his wife, Maribel, live in Porter Ranch with their two daughters.
